World Economic Forum

The Building Integrity team has written and has ongoing curation responsibilities for the corruption area of the World Economic Forum’s Global Transformation Map, with regular meetings with the WEF staff. Anyone can sign in to read our entries for various related topics: ‘Transparency and Open Government’, ‘Business Integrity’, ‘Collective Action’, ‘Illicit Financial Flows’ and ‘Public Awareness and Education’.

Accountability Lab 

Accountability Lab is an NGO working to promote integrity through innovative civil society-led initiatives. The Building Integrity Programme is collaborating with Accountability Lab is assess the impact of a competition called ‘Integrity Idol’, whereby public servants who have worked hard to reduce corruption and reform institutions appear in videos describing their efforts, and compete for public votes. The competition runs in Liberia, Mali, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, and Sri Lanka.

United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) offers support and implementation of the United Nation Convention against Corruption on behalf of the United Nations. In this capacity, it runs the Education for Justice (E4J) Initiative, which seeks to develop a range of model university courses on topics including both integrity and anti-corruption. The members of the Building Integrity Programme are proud to be collaborating, with a number of other academics form around the world, with the UNODC in drafting these courses. Specifically, we are currently the lead drafters for forthcoming modules on ‘Gender and Corruption,' and ‘From Anti-Corruption to Building Integrity.'

2019 OECD Global Anti-Corruption & Integrity Forum

The Building Integrity Programme is pleased to be a key partner of the 2019 OECD Global Anti-Corruption & Integrity Forum. The 7th edition of the OECD’s Global Anti-Corruption & Integrity Forum entitled – Tech for Trust, will take place on 20-21 March 2019 in Paris.

Blockchain, big data analytics, AI and other new technologies are transforming the way of working for governments, businesses and society. The 2019 Forum will focus on the risks and opportunities of new technologies for anti-corruption & integrity.
